Big news! I'm excited to announce that I wrote a book.
It's currently available for pre-sale on Amazon and it's called Positive Behavior Activities for Kids: 50 Fun and Engaging Exercises to Help Kids Make Good Choices at Home, at School, and Beyond.
"You put so much thought into it. I love it!"- Kelly Meier, RespectfulParent.com
If you follow me on social media, you've probably seen it, and I'll be sharing more in the coming weeks. The release date is June 1, but you can pre-order your copy now!
This illustrated activity book aims to help children from 4-8 years old:
- build a stronger emotional vocabulary
- improve their self-regulation
- and develop empathy for others.
They’ll build up their cooperation skills through drawing and writing prompts, physical exercises, arts and crafts projects, and other creative exercises.
It was so much fun to write. My 8-year-old wanted to look at the proof copy as soon as it arrived. He rated it "8.5 out of 10 stars." 😂
I'm grateful for the opportunity to talk about what "positive behavior" is, both for adults and for kids. Younger kids and pre-readers will need some help, but older kids can do a lot of the activities independently. Some are hands-on projects, where others are tools and exercises to practice and build on.
"You've got stuff in there that our therapist recommended - only you wrote it in English instead of in 'doctor.' It's so cool."- Graeme Seabrook, GraemeSeabrook.com
The book ships June 1, but I would be so grateful if you would support me by pre-ordering it and sharing it with other parents!
I can't wait to hear what you think. Grab your copy now!
